Green Wave Wrestlers Place at GLC Tournament

Holy Name’s three varsity wrestlers did well at last weekend’s Great Lakes Conference Tournament.

Junior Kalin Zuchowsky, who competed in the 132 lb. weight class, finished second.

Freshman Bryan Curry placed second in the 106 lb. weight class.

Freshman Patrick Curry took home a third place finish, after beating Valley Forge’s Carlos Abdulghani in the 120 lb. weight class consolation match.

Before the GLC Tournament, Zuchowsky’s record was eight wins, four losses. He also placed second in the Lorain Tournament and second in the Dean Kinley Tournament.

Bryan Curry had a record of five wins and seven losses. He placed second at the Dean Kinley Tournament.

Patrick Curry had a record of two wins and eight losses.
