Multiple Teams · Jack Stolar pitches No-Hitter in 1-0 loss to Padua

The Varsity Baseball team lost in the District Semi Final game yesterday 1-0 to Padua. It was a classic pitchers duel between 2 great pitchers. Holy Name’s Jack Stolar was dominant, pitching a No-Hitter in the defeat. Padua scored the only run of the game in the second inning on a full count walk, a bunt, & sacrifice fly. The Namers had only 4 hits on the day and a late 7th inning rally fell short with 2 runners on. The offense was led by Aidan Hickey who had 2 of HN’s 4 hits. Holy Name will travel to Toledo this Saturday for their final 2 games of the 2017 season taking on Sylvania Southview.
