At the end of the season, five athletes qualified to the Indoor State meet in five events.  For the boys team, Adam Rini qualified in both Long Jump and High Jump, as well as part of the 4×400 meter relay with Ryan Tomblin, Kevin McLoughlin and Ben Fulop.  For the girls team, Alexa Krauth qualified in both the 60 meter hurdle and high jump.  At the state meet, all five athletes improved their state ranking from the start of the meet:

Alexa Krauth:  came in ranked 12th, and ended up finishing 10th in the state, missing the final by only one spot.  Alexa also finished 15th in the women’s high jump.  Alexa ends her senior indoor season holding both indoor hurdling records for the school (she also holds the outdoor 100m hurdling record).  In her two years with the team, she has gone to the indoor state meet twice in three events.

Adam Rini:  came in ranked 23rd in Long Jump and finished 15th.  Adam also placed 16th in high jump.  Adam was also part of the 20th place 4x400m relay.  Adam now holds five school records between indoor and outdoor track, and he has gone to indoor state twice in the last two years in four events.

Kevin McLoughlin: finished 20th in the 4×400 relay, running his personal best split for the team.  Kevin missed qualifying to state in the 60 meter hurdle by 0.06 seconds.  He finishes his senior indoor season as the 32nd ranked hurdler in the state and the record holder for the school in both the 55m hurdle, 60m hurdle, and 4x400m relay.

Ben Fulop: finished 20th in the 4×400 relay at state as the fastest runner on the team.  This was Ben’s first trip to the indoor state meet.  Throughout the indoor season, Ben also broke the school record in the 400m, and then lowered it again two weeks later.  Ben owns the four fastest indoor 400m times in school history.

Ryan Tomblin: was also part of the 20th place boys 4×400 relay at the indoor state meet, where he ran his best split of the year.  Ryan is the only non-senior on the team to qualify for the indoor state meet.
