Bowler Andrew Bleakley ’18 Qualifies for State Tournament

A big congratulations goes to Andrew Bleakley ’18, who finished second in the Division II District Bowling Championships in Youngstown over the weekend! Andrew will represent Holy Name at the Division II State Finals in Columbus this Friday. He has worked hard to earn this spot, and we are proud to call him a Namer.

Boys Basketball Weekly Wrapup

The boys basketball team split two games this week to conclude the regular season at 19-3.  On Tuesday, the Namers defeated Lake Catholic 71-67. On Friday, the Namers fell to Gilmour 90-83. Boys Basketball Wins GLC Awards

The Namers boys basketball, who shared the Great Lakes Conference champoinship this year,  team brought home some hardware at the GLC coaches meeting.  Senior Dwayne Cohill was name Co-Player of the Year.  Seniors Brandon Styers and Joe Petrilla were named first team All-GLC.  Senior Jon Minnich and sophomore Quentin Richarsdon were named second team All-GLC.
